BCBC Children's Ministry
Sunday Mornings, 9:30AM - 10:30AM
Sunday school is our primary teaching time. We teach through the entire Bible in a four-year cycle. If a child attends Sunday school beginning at age two, by the time they enter Middle School, they will have gone through the Bible between two and three times.
All ages cover the same material on any given Sunday. That way, if you have several children in our program, you can discuss what they’ve learned as a family. Our teachers also help your children memorize a passage of Scripture that goes along with what they’re learning. If you would like to work on the verses at home, all of your children in our program will be memorizing the same passage in order to make it more family friendly!
All our teachers are committed to what they do. They love Jesus and love children! All our teachers are required to complete a written interview, background check, and references before beginning to volunteer.
Sunday Mornings, 10:30AM - 12:00PM
KidsQuest is where kids can grow in their own walk with God, as they sing, celebrate, study, and enjoy! Four year olds through third grade are welcome to attend. Kids will learn great content from God's Word, be able to sing high-energy songs, experience moments of prayer together, and meet some new friends as well. If you have questions about KidsQuest, or if you'd like to come and see why so many kids love coming, feel free to come by this Sunday!
MERGE: Wednesday Evenings, 6:30PM - 8:00PM
Club 252 is offered during the school year on Wednesday nights for 1st - 5th grade students. Each month we learn about a godly virtue or character trait. We do this through Bible study, memorization, and opportunities to practice the virtue.
We encourage our kids to begin the practice of spending time with God each day, and we send home four devotionals for them to use each week.
Children who come to Club 252 receive a” Point Tracker” at the beginning of each month. Inside the Point Tracker is a place record daily spent time with God, verses memorized, and projects completed that reinforce the month’s virtue. Three times during the year the points can be spent at “Store Night” for fun things.
To help the children love others, we have a giving project. In the past we’ve bought goats and chickens for families in Africa, helped provide water and food for kids in other countries, and given to orphanages in Haiti after a hurricane.
We are staffed by adults and teens who commit to the Club for one year. They are required to complete a written interview, a background check, as well as provide references.
