Connecting at BCBC

Our church is alot like a family, and you're welcome to join it! When you get involved here, you'll find all sorts of potential for friendships, mentoring, encouragement, and involvement. We want YOU to be maximized in your mission in life and to feel the joy of a rich relationship with God. To this end, our church family calendar includes everything from mission trips across the world to meal delivery for shut-ins in our local community; small groups, Bible studies, discipleship classes, worship teams, and plenty of ministry opportunities.  Throughout the year, we host fellowship dinners, learning events, backyard parties, leadership events, sacred holiday moments, and usually a few unexpected surprises.

Below, you'll see a few examples of ongoing adult ministries & opportunities we offer:

Discipleship Groups: NavPress 2:7 Series

Sundays, 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. @ BCBC

(these groups run simultaneously to our worship services and children's programming)

Discipleship Groups are built to add an element of community, conversation, and practical learning to your Sunday morning church experience!  Select a service to attend, then plan to attend a Discipleship Group during the other hour.  You (and any kids you happen to bring) will have plenty to do, plenty to learn, and a lot to discover!

Deep-Dive Bible Study

Monday Evenings

Primary Contacts: Timothy Zebell

This Bible study covers all sorts of interesting themes - recently having covered End Times, Halloween, Christian perspectives on current issues, and much more.  Come, and enjoy!

Ladies' Book Club

Monthly, on selected evenings

Primary Contact: Melissa Jarvis

Our club discusses a wide range of Christian books - and uses the opportunity to enjoy elegant dinners, fun environments (at the church, in our homes, or in other special places).  We usually enjoy a mix of ladies from all age groups - and although no everyone really reads the book, EVERYONE has a great time of fellowship.

Grief Share

13 week rotation

Primary Contact: Jill Shoop

Are you grieving the loss of someone close to you? Find comfort and support.

GriefShare is a support group.  You'll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see the group as an "oasis" on your long journey through grief.

Helping Hands

First Thursday of each month

Primary Contact:  Diane McCullough

We serve the Lord and our community by making items such as shawls, lap blankets, baby blankets, burp pads, and hats that are distributed to those in need.  No special sewing, knitting or crocheting skills are necessarily needed to participate.

Ladies Bible Study

Senior To Senior

Third Monday of each month                                                                                                               Primary Contacts: Lauri Foster  /  Dian Mahar

Senior to Seniors is a way of seniors reaching out to and connecting with other seniors.  This not only provides a support base in times of need, but also for Christian fellowship.
